Attached is a flyer that might be of interest to your graduate students.  It tells them of the Snell Prize which is given annually by the European History Section of the Southern Historical Association for the best seminar research paper in European History from the past year.  "European" is defined as encompassing the entire continent, including Russia, from pre-history to the present.
