FYI - a recent alum of our PhD program is looking for a researcher. If interested, please write directly to Ben.

Best,
Sam

Subject: Research Work for a PhD Student

Sam,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing because I've received some research funding and I'm looking for someone in the DC area who might be interested in some work digitizing records for me. I'm hoping to line up someone to digitize the records of the Vietnam War Crimes Working Group, held at NARA II - College Park. It's about 10,000 pages of documents and the job would pay about 4k. It's a single file series, so it should be relatively simple, maybe a couple of weeks of sustained work. NARA II is still closed to researchers, so I anticipate the work would need to be done over the summer. I thought that there might be a PhD student in the program interested in making some extra money. If you know someone you think would be well suited, or if you'd be willing to put this out to the PhD list serve I'd appreciate it.

Warm Regards,
Ben
