Hi everyone—I currently serve on the Board of the Alexandria Historical Society and my term is about to expire. I’m moving so I cannot reup, although if I were staying in town, I absolutely would. They are specifically looking for new faces to bring fresh expertise to the Board.



Might any of you be interested in filling my seat?



The terms are typically 2 years. Meetings are monthly for a few hours either via phone or at the Alexandria Black History Museum. All seats come with a “job.” I was the web editor and the work was minimal. It’s good public history experience and I really enjoyed the group.
