Dear All,

On April 29, colloquium will be discussing two prospectuses:

Tony Guidone, "The Empire’s City: Salem, Massachusetts, 1790-1830"

Peter Carr Jones, "The Oil Weapon: Developing Petroleum for War in the United States, 1939-86"

All are welcome, we will meet at 5:30 in Merten Hall 1203. Please email me if you'd like a copy of either prospectus (or both!) to read in advance. Hope to see many of you there,

best,

Sam
