Last night the College of Humanities and Social Sciences announced that it will be hiring 3 graduate students as peer mentors over the summer.  The details of the role are still to be determined, but this is a position funded by the Provost, in part to provide better financial support to graduate students over the summer. The position is a summer GPA position (5/25-8/24), 20 hours per week, and pays $5,350 (PT 10 hours per week, $2,675.)

Unfortunately, there is a very short deadline for applying for the position – I need to inform CHSS of interested people by tomorrow (Wednesday, May 6).  If you are interested in being considered for this role, could you please send me a copy of your cv by 9am tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, and I will forward it to the College.  I am not sure how they will make their selections after that.
