As a member of the organizing committee of the DC Historical Studies Conference, I wanted to encourage students and faculty to submit paper or panel proposals for this year's conference.  Submissions based on all new research on D.C. history topics are welcome. The deadline is May 18th. I am glad to talk with you or your colleagues about the conference, possible submissions or panel ideas, etc. It is easy to submit proposals online:
