The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is seeking a qualified individuals to implement the museum’s inaugural Visitor Services Program.

NMAAHC will be filling vacancies for two positions:  Lead Visitor Services Assistant and Visitor Services Assistant. Both positions will play an active role in every successful museum visit and execute all Visitor Services Program functions. Assistants will impart outstanding customer service with each visitor encounter by responding to visitor’s questions, resolving problems, or de-escalating more serious issues in the entrance line, on the floor, or anywhere within the museum exhibitions and public spaces.

Assistants will also serve as role models to NMAAHC’s volunteers, playing a key role in ongoing volunteer training and daily communications and providing performance feedback to volunteer cohorts.
