Announcing the official launch of the inaugural Graduate Student Life
website,http://gradlife.gmu.edu <http://gradlife.gmu.edu/>.  The website:

    * Provides a single location where information relevant to graduate
      and professional students may be easily accessed;
    * Is complementary to the websites of academic programs; and
    * Offers graduate students a virtual method of connecting with each
      other.

The content and design of the site is based on eight graduate student
focus groups held early fall 2011 and interviews with over 30 graduate
student life stakeholders, e.g., University Life units, Academic Affairs
units, Libraries, ITU, Alumni Affairs, Parking & Transportation,
Auxiliary Enterprises.

Refer current graduate students and prospective graduate students to the
site in your correspondence and conversations. For additional
information about the site contact: Janice Sutera, Director of Special
Projects, University Life,[log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>or Amy
Gillies, Graduate Programs Coordinator, Office of the
Provost,[log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
