Hello,
The history graduate students at Catholic University of America invite you to join us for our first ever DC-area history graduate student pedagogy event!
Dr. Laura Mayhall will be giving a short presentation on teaching 'best practices' followed by a discussion. We are very pleased to be hosting this event and our GSA will provide drinks and snacks for a meet-and-greet session directly after the discussion.
We are working with representatives from each school in the DC area to shape a regional organization for history graduate students. Ideally, this organization would host events several times throughout the semester to discuss pedagogy, professional development, and other issues relevant to history grad students. More information on the larger organization will be forthcoming, but please join us for our first event.
