Announcing Pohick Church's 250th anniversary of George Washington's 
election to the vestry, Saturday October 20th, 4:30 - 7:00 pm.

The presentation will be an excellent opportunity for students to delve 
into the role of religion in colonial America and George Washington's 
views in particular.
Living history interpreter Greg Fisher will portray George Washington as 
he reflects on his years of vestry service, and noted author Mary 
Thompson will be signing copies of her book,/In the Hands of a Good 
Providence: Religion in the Life of George Washington./
Reception with light refreshments to follow the program.
