We received so many responses from students interested in the 3/30 workshop that we decided to have another one! Could you please post the following message on your listserv?
Thank you!

We heard from so many students interested in our 3/30 workshop that we decided we needed to have another one!
On Wednesday, April 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. (location on the Fairfax campus to be announced), UDTS is teaming up again with the Division of Instructional Technology (DoIT) and with Allison Meyer O'Connor of the Johnson Center Library for a 3-part workshop:
Part 1: Sally Evans, Coordinator of University Dissertation and Thesis Services, will give an overview of UDTS and the process grad students need to go through in order to graduate--specifically, the format review, submission consultation, and final submission of your thesis or dissertation.
Part 2: Abel Roasa of DoIT will lead a session on formatting your thesis or dissertation using Microsoft Word. Even if you feel pretty confident with this program, Abel can show you some amazing tricks that will make formatting your document a breeze.
Part 3: Allison Meyer O'Connor will introduce you to Zotero, a research tool that helps you gather and organize your sources . . . and make them work for you, as citations, references, footnotes, you name it.
You can sign up for this workshop through the IT Training website: http://ittraining.gmu.edu/.
This workshop is open to graduate students from all departments. Sign up soon--space is limited! But be on the lookout--we're going to have more of these.
Contact Sally Evans of UDTS ([log in to unmask]) and/or Marlys Shoup of DoIT ([log in to unmask]) with questions.
Hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Sally R. Evans, UDTS Coordinator
