Good Morning, History and Art History Graduate Students!



I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I’m finally back to work after 27 weeks of recovery following extensive surgeries and treatment.  I’m very glad to report that I responded beautifully to treatment and that my prognosis is excellent.  It’s going to take me a bit of time to build my stamina back up, but I’m improving with every day that passes - hope to be back to my old self within the next few weeks or so.



I also want to be sure to thank my fantastic colleagues, Sue Woods, Susie LeBlanc, Carrie Grabo, Stephanie Sheridan, our part-time receptionists, and our Graduate Program Directors for tirelessly covering for me while I was out.  I simply would not have been able to focus on my health and recovery like I needed to without knowing our students were in such good hands!



Rather than risk confusion or the unnecessary doubling of efforts, I won’t be responding to any email inquiries that were sent to me while I was out (frankly, there are just too many to respond to in a timely manner).  If you have an issue that has not already been addressed and/or resolved by my colleagues, please don’t hesitate to send me a new email request and I’ll be very glad to look into it for you.



Thanks very much to you all for your patience as I get back up to speed – I look forward to reconnecting with everyone!
