Good afternoon!

Beacon Hall, which is located on the Science & Technology campus in Manassas, Virginia currently has apartments available for graduate students who are enrolled for the 2016-2017 academic year. Shuttle service to/from the SciTech and Fairfax is conveniently located across the street from Beacon Hall, at the Hylton Center for the Performing Arts. During the academic year, the shuttle runs every half hour and once per hour, during the summer. Beacon Hall leases begin on August 1st, 2016 and end on June 30th, 2017. Residents returning to Beacon Hall for the following academic year will have the option of staying in Beacon during July at a bridged rate.

When applying for Beacon Hall, students are able to select their preference(s) for studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment common area contains a full kitchen, dining area w/chairs, couch, chair (for two-bedroom apartments), entertainment center and washer/dryer unit. Each bedroom within Beacon Hall contains a bathroom, full-size bed, closet, chest of drawers and a desk w/ chair.  Please note that apartments are first come, first serve and as such, students may not receive their first preference, depending on when their application was completed. Applications are not considered completed until the $299 deposit has been received and processed. Housing assignments for Beacon Hall are sent out mid-June/early July via GMU e-mail. Beacon Hall Housing Rates and Deposit

2016-2017 Beacon Hall (11-month lease) rates are as follows:
*         $10,910 for the Academic year - Studio Apartment
*         $13,990 for the Academic year - One Bedroom Apartment
*         $8,290 for the Academic year - Two Bedroom Apartment (one bedroom rate within two bedroom)
The housing deposit for Beacon Hall is $299.
