                  The following announcement is being sent to the PhD History student listserv and does not reflect individual records.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you are a Master's or Doctoral student who is writing a thesis or dissertation, and you're planning on graduating in Summer 2017, please be aware of the following extremely important upcoming deadlines:
Summer 2017 Format Review Deadline: In order for you to be eligible to graduate in the Summer 2017 Semester, you must receive an email from our office by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, stating that your formatting is in good shape, and your Format Review is over. If you have not yet submitted your document for Format Review, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible.
Summer 2017 Final Submission Deadline: You must turn in the final copy of your thesis/dissertation, and all necessary paperwork<http://library.gmu.edu/udts/process#step5>, by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4. By "final copy," we are referring to the version of your document that fulfills all of the following criteria:
  1.  You have passed the Format Review;
  2.  You have successfully defended (if a defense is part of your program);
  3.  And your committee has approved your content.
If we do not receive the final copy of your document and all necessary materials on or by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, then you will not graduate in the Summer 2017 Semester.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need any further information. We look forward to working with you.
Thank you,
Sally
