Greetings, all,

As discussed, when doing minor fields, you need to submit your minor
field proposal for consideration to the graduate committee. We strongly
prefer that we receive these in the semester prior to taking your
History 804 course. However, if you have not yet submitted a proposal
and are taking an 804 this semester, we need you absolutely to submit
these prior to the first graduate committee meeting.

The proposal should include a brief (1-2 paragraph) statement of the
scope of the field to be examined, a preliminary bibliography with no
fewer than 25 items and the signed minor field proposal form. These
should be submitted to Mack Holt ([log in to unmask]) no less than two days
prior to the graduate committee meeting at which they will be considered.

Graduate committee meetings this semester are scheduled for:

Wednesday, February 10
Wednesday, March 17
Wednesday, April 21

Thanks for your cooperation on this.

Best,

Steve
