Hi all,

Two quick items of interest as the Spring semester begins. We need a
new student representative to the Graduate Committee. Please send
nominations to me at [log in to unmask] before Friday January 30.
Nominations will also be taken during the first colloquium on January
26.

Also, there is a search underway for a new digital historian in the
department. Anyone who is interested in attending the job talks or
participating in the process in any way should please contact me at [log in to unmask]
. The candidate schedule is as follows:

Thursday 1/29 (Tanya Clement, University of Maryland)
Thursday 2/5 (Fred Gibbs, Wisconsin)
Tuesday 2/10 (Josh Sternfeld, UCLA)

Take care,
Ken
