Dear PhD students,

If anyone is interested in serving as a judge for the Langley High School National History Day competition (see below), please write Allison Herzig ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). If you've never judged National History Day before, it can be a fun, rewarding experience.

Subject: FW: Langley High School - National History Day - Judges Needed

I wanted to reach out again to see if GMU would like to play a role in the judging of the Langley National History Day fair.

Our sophomore students in the Honors sections of World History are participating in the National History Day. Our school-wide competition will be held at Langley in our library on Tuesday, February 9th afterschool from approximately 3:30-6:30. We are in need of judges and I was wondering if you thought some instructors/professors of history would be interested or willing to help us out that day. Anyone specializing in military, US, world, Islamic, women's, etc. segments of history would be a great addition to our team.

Let me know what you think - it seems another great way for our public institutions to work together!! :)

Allison
