Subject: GECCO 2023 CALLS FOR SPONSORS, TUTORIALS, WORKSHOPS AND COMPETITIONS

The GECCO 2023 organizing committee invites you to participate in one
of the calls that are currently open. Some of them will end soon.

We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon!

----------------------------------------------------------------
COMPETITIONS https://gecco-2023.sigevo.org/Competition-Proposals
----------------------------------------------------------------

The Competitions Chair of GECCO 2023 invites domain experts to submit
proposals for organizing a competition at GECCO 2023. The deadline is:

Proposals for competitions: December 1, 2022
    Acceptance Decision: December 15, 2022

Competitions demonstrate how Evolutionary Computation and related
techniques can be utilized in challenging practical, real-world and
gaming settings. They also enable fair comparisons between algorithms
and (for recurrent competitions) provide the possibility to follow the
development of approaches over time.

We are offering the publication of short algorithm descriptions as
2-page contributions to the GECCO Companion. The competition
organizers decide whether they want to offer this to the competition
participants — the 2-page paper will require at least one author to
register at the conference as a presenter. The deadline for these
algorithm descriptions will be in April 2023, and they will be
reviewed by the respective competition organizers. Your competition’s
deadline can be after the 2-pagers are due, e.g. in June.

----------------------------------------------------------
TUTORIALS https://gecco-2023.sigevo.org/Tutorial-Proposals
----------------------------------------------------------

The Tutorials Chair of GECCO 2023 invites domain experts to submit
proposals for presenting a tutorial at GECCO 2023. The NON-EXTENSIBLE
deadline is:

Proposals for tutorials: November 27, 2022
    Acceptance Decision: December 9, 2022

Tutorials at GECCO 2023 will provide an excellent opportunity to learn
about current theory and practice in evolutionary computation from
domain experts. We are now inviting proposals for tutorials. Each
tutorial is expected to be 110 minutes long. We encourage the
inclusion of interactive activities and demos.

Tutorials will be free to all GECCO 2023 attendees. We strongly
encourage tutorials in hybrid mode rather than online only.

Accepted tutorials' slide sets will be published as part of a
Companion volume to the conference proceedings in the ACM Digital
library.

One instructor/presenter of each accepted tutorial will get a
discounted registration. The discount can be divided among tutorial
instructors if there is more than one. Each presenter is eligible for
only a single tutorial discount, i.e., it is not possible to aggregate
discounts from more tutorials. If a tutorial instructor is also
presenting papers/workshop papers/posters, this discount is halved
(i.e., 50% shared between speakers).

----------------------------------------------------------
WORKSHOPS https://gecco-2023.sigevo.org/Workshop-Proposals
----------------------------------------------------------
The Workshops Chairs of GECCO 2023 invite domain experts to submit
proposals for organizing a workshop at GECCO 2023. The non-extensible
deadline is:

Proposals for workshops: Sunday, November 27, 2022 (anywhere on earth)
Acceptance Decision: Friday, December 9, 2022 (anywhere on earth)

If you submitted a proposal you can view it via the My Info page.

Workshops at GECCO provide the possibility to commonly develop visions
and exchange ideas in an informal setting, especially if focused on an
emerging research field or interdisciplinary research area. In
contrast to regular sessions, workshops can (and should) host
interactive sessions (discussions, demonstrations, etc.). Attendance
at the workshops will be free to all GECCO attendees.

Workshop organizers are responsible for coordination and publicity. If
paper submissions are invited for the workshop (this is not a
requirement!), workshop organizers take care of the review process,
under the supervision of the GECCO 2023 workshop chairs. If
applicable, workshop organizers also provide a list of additional
(invited) speakers and titles of talks to be given.

Note that organizers, participants and presenters must register for
the conference.
We strongly encourage workshops in hybrid mode rather than online only.
If possible, at least one organizer of each workshop should attend the
conference in person.

Accepted workshop papers will be published as part of a Companion
volume to the conference proceedings in the ACM Digital library.

----------------------------------------------------------
SPONSORS https://gecco-2023.sigevo.org/Call-for-Sponsors
----------------------------------------------------------

The organizers of GECCO 2023 invite and warmly welcome corporate
sponsors. Corporate sponsorships are a fantastic opportunity for
companies to have a presence at the premier conference on genetic and
evolutionary computation, a key field in artificial and computational
intelligence. A corporate presence at GECCO provides a unique
opportunity to raise corporate awareness, to interact with leading
scientific minds in the field, to cultivate new collaborations, and to
reach future employees with high potentials. At the same time, such
sponsorships make a key contribution to the continued success of
GECCO, including enabling important cross-fertilization between
academia and industry. The organization is highly appreciative of your
corporate support and participation.

GECCO 2023 in principle identifies the opportunities as outlined below
in predefined sponsorship packages, but in general strives to have
your sponsorship meet the needs of your company. In particular, this
year the sponsorship packages match the hybrid mode of the event,
including both an onsite and virtual presence. If you are interested
in becoming a corporate sponsor, please contact us at
