Good morning faculty and staff,
Please be reminded that tomorrow, Friday, December 1 is the first of CECs two winter clothing drives, which will be facilitated by the Office of Diversity, Outreach, and Inclusive Learning. And which will take place from 11 am - 3pm in the Engineering Building, room 2800.
Please note the below criteria for clothing and other winter items that you plan to donate. Also note the the DOIL student assistants have been told to be quite strict about the below criteria.
Please do not make the students feel pressured to take clothing they may not determine is a good fit for CECs/CEDRICs clothing closet.
Donations must meet the following criteria to be accepted for CECs Winter Clothing Popup:
1. Clothing and footwear must be winter clothing
2. Clothing and footwear must be no more than 3-5 years old
3. Submitted items must be properly washed and/or dry-cleaned
4. Clothing must be in very good to excellent quality, showing no visible tears, stains, or other signs of wear
5. Footwear will only be accepted if they are in excellent condition, with no visible wear and tear
If you have clothing you would like to donate that is not winter clothing, please reach out to the Student Life Office to be directed to the University's central closet. If you have questions, please contact the DOIL team at [log in to unmask]
