Subject: Introducing the George Mason RPRC Faculty Expertise Survey

Dear esteemed faculty members of the GMU College of Engineering,

I hope this email finds you well. As we embark on another exciting academic year at George Mason University, it is our privilege to continue fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within our College of Engineering. To further enhance our collective knowledge and promote interdisciplinary research, we are launching a comprehensive initiative to catalog the diverse expertise, research focus, and areas of interest within our esteemed faculty.

I am writing to introduce you to the "George Mason RPRC Faculty Expertise Survey," a project that aims to create a comprehensive directory of our faculty's unique skills and interests. This directory will serve as a valuable resource for our academic community and RPRC – allowing us to facilitate connections and collaborations across various engineering disciplines and helping us identify opportunities for research synergy and growth.

The success of this endeavor greatly depends on your active participation. We kindly request that each of you take a few minutes to complete the online survey at the link below:

The survey will encompass a range of questions designed to capture your areas of expertise, research interests, and potential areas of collaboration. Your input is invaluable in helping us better understand the wealth of knowledge and talent present within our College.

Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential. The information you provide will be used exclusively for academic and research purposes within our university community.

We believe that this collective effort will not only strengthen our College's internal network but also help us better align our research initiatives with the pressing challenges and opportunities of today's world.

Should you have any questions or require assistance with the survey, please do not hesitate to reach out to our designated contact, Jason P Houser – Director of Operations, Strategy & Growth ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and commitment to advancing the College of Engineering's research capabilities. Together, we can continue to make a profound impact on the fields of engineering and beyond.

Warm regards,

Eric
