For a full spring semester in Moscow and/or St. Petersburg, George Mason
undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Humanities and Social
Science will have the opportunity to study alongside Russian students at
the
*Higher School of Economics (HSE)* <http://www.hse.ru/lingua/en/>. Here
are just 6 examples of over
15 different courses that will be offered:

Religions
in Modern Europe
--Ethnic problems in post-Soviet space
--Islam and nationalism in Eurasia
--Internet, New Media and Popular Culture in Russia
--Sociopolitical Institutions and Emerging of Democratic Systems

A FIPSE fund from U.S. Department of Education will cover the cost of
international travel and a daily allowance for program participants. Space
on the spring 2013 semester program is limited and the program will fill up
so students are encouraged to apply soon, even over the winter break if
