Dear BIS Students:
We are trying something new and daring in the Fall 2012 semester!
We are considering making one section of the BIS 490 course into a
"hybrid 49/51" course. This means that the course would meet up to 49%
in-person, and at least 51% online. The course is listed in the Fall
schedule of classes as CRN 73813 - BIS 490, meeting on Fridays from
5:30-8:10 PM.
The Friday afternoon meeting time for this section of BIS 490 was chosen
with the expectation that students would not have to travel to campus as
often for this course. If you are planning to take BIS 490 this Fall,
please share your preferences:
1)I am interested in taking BIS 490 this Fall on Friday afternoons as a
hybrid course.
2)I am interested in taking BIS 490 this Fall on Friday afternoons,
regardless of the format (all in-person vs. hybrid).
3)I am not at all interested in BIS 490 on Friday afternoons.
Kindly reply to this message with indicating your preference (1, 2, or
3) related to this hybrid course.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best wishes,
Lenore
