Dear Students,

Currently all seats are full in BIS 390 and 490 for the Fall 2010 semester. If
you meet the below requirements for the respective courses and were unable
to register when seats were available, please put yourself on the wait list
(steps below). Prior to doing so, please be sure that you meet the
requirements (if you're not sure, send me an email and I'll check):

BIS 390 Requirements:
1.	Successful completion of BIS 300 (C or better)
2.	Successful completion of ENGL 302 (C or better)
3.	Approved BIS Educational Contract
4.	Dedicated Faculty Mentor

BIS 490 Requirements:
1.	Successful completion of BIS 300 (C or better)
2.	Successful completion of ENGL 302 (C or better)
3.	Approved BIS Educational Contract
4.	Dedicated Faculty Mentor
5.	Successful completion of BIS 390 (C or better)
6.	Approved BIS 390 Research Proposal

Again, please put yourself on the wait list if you are interested in taking one of
the above courses in the Fall 2010. This is not a guarantee that a seat will
open, but in the event one does you will have a chance at it depending on your
place on the wait list. Adding sections for these courses can only be
considered if we can show the enrollment needs.

How to get on the wait list:

Wait List FAQs (http://registrar.gmu.edu/registration/waitlist.html)

1.	Login to Patriot Web
2.	Under Student Services, click on “Registration”
3.	Search for Classes
4.	Select term “Fall 2010”
5.	Search for either BIS 390* or 490
6.	Either course should show up as closed (there will be a “C” next to the
course listing)
7.	Note the CRN #
8.	Click “Add to Worksheet”
9.	Enter the CRN in the first box at the bottom of the screen and submit
changes
10.	You will receive a registration error noting that the course is closed
11.	Under the “Action” column, select “Wait Listed” and submit changes
12.	If successful the course will show up at “Wait listed on DATE”

If you have questions, please let me know.
