> The School of Systems Biology is pleased to offer graduate students in the Biosciences Ph.D. program the opportunity to apply for one-time supplemental fellowship award funding for the Academic Year (AY) 2011-2012.

> Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis to recognize merit in graduate school education and research. The award is given as a tuition waiver and is posted to the student's account after the Fall and Spring semester drop dates.

> This award is intended to augment current stipend funding levels based on average University approved standards for GRA/GTA awards funded by the University.  As such, students presently supported by Presidential Awards or extramural grants are ineligible for these supplemental funding awards.

> All other students presently supported by GRA/GTA positions as funded by the University are eligible to apply.   The awards will be administered as a supplement over and above the University approved GRA/GTA funding levels.
