Subject: Oct 20th: Undergraduate and Graduate Student Resume Workshop (IABR 1004)

Hello All,

Can you please share the following invitation with your undergraduate and graduate students? We have hosted this workshop for ASSIP students each year and I have personally found the information and guidance to be extremely valuable.

Resume Workshop

Date: October 20, 2017, 11:45am-1:00pm
Location: George Mason University’s SciTech Campus, Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research, room 1004

Would you like to build a winning resume? This workshop is designed for undergraduate and graduate students studying in disciplines relevant for the biohealth field to include but not limited to biology, chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics, engineering, health science, psychology, kinesiology, and athletic training. Learn what employers are looking for and common mistakes to avoid. This will be an interactive session. While not mandatory, students are encouraged to bring a draft of their current resume.

Presented By: Kimberly Bellamy, Manager, Industry Advising & Employer Development, University Career Services

Hosted By: Institute for Biohealth Innovation and the School of Systems Biology

Pizza Lunch Provided. Lunch starts at 11:45am; presentation starts at noon.
